If Autumn isn't here just yet. then it really is only just around the corner. And with the new season upon us, it's certainly the time to consider a new look for your old chairs. Because if they're strong and sturdy, then they're fit for many more years of service. In the kitchen, the bathroom or your dining area.

Autumn Look with Painted Chairs
We're often asked to paint old chairs. And occasionally they're quite newish chairs. Typically the urge for a new look for old chairs is prompted by a new kitchen from Surrey-based Eleven Oaks or Howdens. Alternatively the Dulux decorators have re-decorated the dining area…and suddenly the brown furniture doesn't look as smart as it once did.
But a fresh paint job will always smarten up your old chairs. The one consideration is fabric seats, cushions or backs. We have to remove these to ensure a good classy painted furniture finish. Most cushioned seats and backs will either lift off or we can remove them by removing a few screws. But there are exceptions!
Key Steps for Painting Your Old Chairs
Our customers often choose their paint colours straight from one of the main colour charts. But occasionally we're asked to do a colour match to another piece of furniture, a kitchen cupboard door or some upholstery. All our paint suppliers offer a colour matching service.
