Furniture Painting by Shabby Chic Surrey
All our furniture projects are custom-ordered, and completed to our customers needs. In the main we paint with water-based furniture paints, but use specialist solvent-based paints for priming, hiding wood knots and varnishing outdoor tabletops.
Typically we paint with the Dulux heritage eggshell paints that have great quality and we can apply them easily with brush, mini-roller and spray machine, depending on the painting job. We can mix a range of colours into these paints. And, of course where a customer wants a satin or a matt finish, we will source a quality paint from suppliers such as Zinsser or Bedec. We do paint with specialist chalk paints such as the Annie Sloan chalk paints. And we also use the Annie Sloan range of waxes to finish a complete shabby chic project if that's needed. Because a chalk paint finish can be waxed or left chalky to the touch.
We've listed many of our furniture painting projects below.
