Green Painted Chest of Drawers Upcycled Nicely

This green painted chest of drawers was a very elegant item of pine furniture, well-made and solid. With three drawers, it's decorated with two very fine metal drawer pulls on each drawer. They're of a good size and have plenty of reach in them. The chest also features a back plate on the top surface. Stylish and not that common with newer chest of drawers. Very useful.

We were asked to paint the chest of drawers with a dark green paint, Beverly from Farrow and Ball. It's a very popular colour for recycled furniture and always looks very classical.

Spare Room Destination for this Upcycled Green Painted Chest of Drawers

With three drawers making it an ideal size, the green painted chest of drawers was destined for a spare room. But, nonetheless it needed smartening up. Something that we were delighted to do.

We approached the project in our usual way that involved removal of all the metal hardware from the chest before the sanding and painting.

Delivery Time

This proved to be a very effective paint job for the green painted chest of drawers. Once we had re-fitted the metalwork we arranged a Surrey delivery and It now looks quite at home in the spare bedroom. Undoubtedly it has years of service ahead.
